IKEA Kitchen Ready to Order

Smart Design, Thoughtfully Organised

Designing an IKEA kitchen can quickly turn into a headache: modules, dimensions, storage, compatibility… it’s easy to get lost — or end up with a layout that doesn’t truly fit your needs.

The goal is simple: to create a kitchen that genuinely works for you. A kitchen designed around your space, your habits, and your lifestyle, with a clear plan and an IKEA cart ready to order.

IKEA kitchen layout and shopping cart

A custom IKEA kitchen design service

Every project starts with one essential question: how do you actually use your kitchen?

A kitchen is never just a standard layout. It should fit your real life.

✔ Do you cook every day or only occasionally?
✔ Do you have lots of utensils, appliances, or tableware?
✔ Do you live alone, as a couple, or with family?
✔ Is this your personal home or a property for rental or resale?

All of these answers help create a kitchen that’s truly adapted to your needs, practical, and enjoyable to use.

How does your IKEA kitchen project work?

IKEA plans & shopping cart ready in one click

1.
An initial visit to understand your space

Everything starts with an on-site visit.

We take the time to talk, ask the right questions, and understand what really matters to you.

  • Analyse the layout of the room
  • Take accurate measurements
  • Identify technical constraints (water connections, outlets, walls…)
  • Discuss your expectations and lifestyle

2.
A tailor-made design built around your needs

Based on the visit, I create a layout plan designed around the way you live.

The goal: a kitchen that’s beautiful, practical, and genuinely pleasant to use every day — because it’s designed for your real habits.

  • An optimised layout (straight, L-shaped, U-shaped, with island…)
  • Smooth circulation between zones (prep, cooking, washing)
  • Storage adapted to what you actually own

3.
Creation of your ready-to-order IKEA cart

Once the layout is approved, I select all the necessary elements directly on the IKEA website: cabinets, fronts, interior storage, accessories, and finishes.

You’ll then receive the link to the complete cart.

All that’s left is to click, order, and move on to the next step.

4.
Installation & Follow-Up

Once your kitchen has been ordered, you can choose to install it yourself, use IKEA’s installation service, or hire an external contractor.

I can also put you in touch with a reliable and highly skilled contractor I regularly work with.

  • Explaining the layout plan
  • Answering questions
  • Making sure everything is clear before or during installation

My Tips for a Successful IKEA Kitchen

  • Make everyday items easy to reach
Keep the things you use most often (utensils, spices, everyday dishes) within easy reach to avoid unnecessary movement.
  • Adapt storage to real life
There’s no point multiplying storage modules if they don’t match your actual needs.
  • Think about the details
Door opening direction, outlets, appliance placement… it’s the small details that make everyday life so much smoother.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, most of the time. Standard dimensions generally allow appliances from other brands to fit in. Measurements and fixing systems simply need to be checked carefully.

Yes. It ensures the project is reliable, adapted to your space, and free from unpleasant surprises.

A well-designed IKEA kitchen relies on smart organisation between zones (cooking, washing, storage) and intelligent use of space. I help you create a tailor-made layout adapted to your room, your needs, and your habits.

For a small kitchen, expect around €2,500–€2,800 for the furniture alone.
As part of my service, I make sure the IKEA cart includes all the necessary elements (cabinets, doors, drawers, finishes, appliances, etc.). Additional costs mainly concern optional services such as delivery, technical pre-inspection, and installation.
For IKEA services (pre-inspection, delivery, installation), expect pricing starting from around €1,300.

It depends on the project, but generally allow around one week between the visit (measurements) and receiving the layout plan.
After that, timelines depend on delivery and installation availability (especially with IKEA).
If you choose to work with the contractor I collaborate with, timelines can often be faster and more flexible than going directly through IKEA.

Of course — it’s absolutely possible to install the kitchen yourself. The provided plan is designed to be clear and easy to follow.
And if you run into a technical issue, I can also put you in touch with a reliable and highly skilled contractor I regularly work with.

Yes. IKEA offers an installation service carried out by partner contractors. You can request a quote in-store or online after placing your order.
Installation generally includes assembling and fixing the cabinets, but certain elements (plumbing, electricity, worktop cutting…) may involve additional costs.
It’s a practical solution if you want a professional result without handling the installation yourself.
